One of the many reasons I left the scene of facebook is not because facebook is evil or any other form of communication is deleterious, of course not. As a matter of fact, facebook is an amazing marketing tool. My problem isn’t with businesses marketing their products or organizations promoting events, it’s the lack of actual knowledge garnered from such media and the information tends to be moot and somewhat divisive and generally, just wrong. Some people pretend to know everything about something and still others know something about everything. People spout words and ideas like they’re falling from heaven without regard to fact or fiction. Words don’t need to be sought after like knowledge. Words can be pulled from the ether or your mouth, the same way Jell-O can be made to wiggle.
I speak words and spout ideas and type up this kind of gibberish, not to convey information but rather write it in hopes someone reads it and thinks, thinks whatever, but thinks. Without words and without language, we revert to our primal selves, forced to live in a, so called, society, where anger, fear and resentment is displayed and conveyed by grunts, fists and war.
Forget the banter of political correctness, the ovations of ignorance and the utter lack of sentence structure. This is why I started this page of words. What I really wanted to write about, is basically more blathering about that other language we all know so well. Love. I long for days when the people of this planet more adequately use this language, but instead we abuse it and limit it to ourselves. Love does not need boundaries or borders, love doesn’t need direction and it certainly doesn’t need protection. Love lights up the world and it does so without the use of words. Love has no words and you cannot describe in words what love is. Love is the language we should all pay more attention to. Forgetting, or never learning how to show love means you may think you know it based on instinctual desire, but alas, do not confuse the two. Instinct could be overpowering that inner feeling which you do not understand. Because you desire something doesn’t necessarily mean you love it, though love can grow, love can never fade. Desire, however, can. Be love, be desire, or just be that which makes others ponder. Always remember, loving only yourself will lead to fear and end in disaster. Spread the love.
